Indiana Chapter Initiatives Fund Ways to Give

Online Giving
The fastest, most convenient way to make a gift to the ACS is to use the secure online giving page or print and mail in the donation form. If you are a non-member, you will be prompted to create a user profile before you can donate.

Credit Card
You can make your gift using VISA, MasterCard, or American Express via our online giving form or call the Foundation at 312-202-5338 to make your donation over the phone.

Please also inform the ACS Foundation of the amount and approximate date of the cash donation wire, so that the ACS Finance Office can monitor its arrival. The ACS Foundation will acknowledge your gift in writing after confirmation of receipt.

Gift of Appreciated Stock
For your next donation to the College, have you considered giving appreciated stocks instead of a cash gift? Forgo some of the heavy capital gains tax and give stock this year. The value of the stock at the time of its transfer will be the value of the donation for tax deduction purposes.

Appreciated Stocks Instructions
Contact your broker and provide required instruction authorizing transfer of stock to the American College of Surgeons.

Inform the ACS Foundation (by phone at 312-202-5338 or e-mail at acsfoundation@facs.org) of your intent to contribute stock, providing the following:

Your full name
Name, address, and telephone number of your broker
Name of the stock(s) to be transferred
Number of shares
The anticipated date of transfer
