LEGISLATIVE TRAINING DAY

Congratulations Dr. David Welsh!!!

The American College of Surgeons (ACS) Board of Directors has elected Rushville general surgeon, David Welsh MD, FACS to the ACS Board of Regents. This select group of physicians from all over the country is involved in formulating policy and directing the affairs of our national surgical society. Dr Welsh has unselfishly served in many capacities in his community and at the state and national levels. “I am humbled and honored by such consideration. The opportunities for involvement started by our Chapter and amplified by the College have been priceless. I anticipate being more involved in the areas of Communications, Private Practice, Rural Surgery, and other areas where needed. I look forward to spreading the ACS message and helping my colleagues any way I can and I welcome your input, questions, council, and needs.” – David Welsh, MD, FACS
